FIBA U18: Batang Gilas wins vs Malaysia 72-69

The Batang Gilas survived in their 2nd round FIBA Asia U18 Championship against the Malaysian team. After a almost 50 points loss vs China the Batang Gilas cameback to defeat the Malaysia U18 team in a nail biting game 72-69.


With a few remaining seconds in the game San Beda Cubs Joshua Caracut dealed the game with his 3 points shot. A game winning shot from Caracut put the Batang Gilas in the next round of the FIBA Asia U18 Championship.

Tongco lead the Philippines with his 22 points, Kobe Paras added 12 points and Dyke contributed with 10. 

While in the team Malaysia Wong Y. leads his team with 15 points, Wong K. with 12, and Wee added 10. The Malysian will next face the top Iran team.
