Arthur Villanueva will Face the Former World Champion at Pinoy Pride 29


25 years old prospect Arthur Villanueva will have the biggest fight of his career as he scheduled to face the 4 time world champion from Mexico Julio Cesar Miranda in Pinoy Pride 29 on February 7, 2015. This fight will take place at University of Southern Philippines Gym Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines.


Arthur Villanueva is coming off a split decision wins against Henry Maldonado from Nicaragua. Now trying to step up and face the former world champion Julio Cesar Miranda in a 10t round fight. Arthur Villanueva has an impressive record consisting of 26W(12KO) and no losses. He is currently ranked no.2 in the Philippines in the Super Filyweight Division. If Villanueva win this fight, will sure that he can grab big fight for his next bout.

Julio Cesar Miranda a former 4 time WBO World flyweight champion is trying to stop the undefeated fighter from Negros Occidental, Philippines. Miranda known for his strong chin and a KO power. Right Now Pingo has a record of 38 wins including 28 KO and has 11 defeats. He lost his title against Brian Viloria back in year 2011. His last fight was victory against Fernando Aguilar also from Mexico.

Also in Pinoy Pride 29 Mark Magsayo will face Sukkasem Kiethyongyuth of Thailand for a 10th round non title fight, Jason Pagara is set to face Cesar Chavez of Mexico for WBO International light welterweight title and in the Main event Genesis Servania will be tested and face a top fighter Juan Luis Hernandez from Mexico.
