Vic Saludar Loses World Title Fight in Japan

Filipino boxing prospect Vic Saludar loses on his first world title fight against the Japanese fighter Kosei Tanaka.

The Filipino fighter was very competitive against Tanaka, he was also puts down Tanaka in the 5th round after he was being whooped by Tanaka in 6th. Saludar down in the 6th round and badly hurt.

Saludar dropped his record in 11W(9KO)-2L while the Japanese WBO World minimumweight champion improved to 6 wins with no losses and defended his title for the first time.

Meanwhile on the undercard, Genesis Servania of the Philippines remains undefeated after defeating Hendrik Barongsay via Unanimous Decision.

We had fought 3 times for the World Title this December 2015 and only Donaire who had been succeeded while Parrenas and Saludar failed.
