Al Rivera vs Shinya Iwabuchi for OPBF Super Lightweight Title

Filipino boxer Al Rivera to fight Shinya Iwabuchi of Japan for the vacant OPBF super lightweight title on February 11, 2016.

The Filipino fighter has a record of 14 wins including 12 victories coming by way of KO and has only 2 defeats.

Rivera is a 22 years old boxer from Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.

He defeated Junard Postrano back in 2014 to win the vacant Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) lightweight title.

In his previous fights, Rivera won 3 KO in his last 4 fights. Also defeated the former undefeated Filipino boxer Adones Cabalquinto via KO.

On the other hand, Shinya Iwabuchi of Japan is 30 years old hard hitting boxer with the record of 26W(22KO)-5L.

Shinya Iwabuchi is a former Japanese super lightweight champion. He also fought for OPBF super lightweight title but loses the fight against Keita Obara in 2014.

Iwabuchi also fought a Filipino boxer Jimrex Jaca in 2014 and won via TKO.

Al Rivera vs Shinya Iwabuchi will be held at Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan.
