Randy Petalcorin fights Omari Kimweri on April 15th

Filipino WBA contender Randy Petalcorin faces Omari Kimweri of Tanzania in a 12 rounds for the  interim WBA World light flyweight title on April 15, 2016 at The Melbourne Pavilion, Flemington, Victoria.

Petalcorin, the current interim WBA World light flyweight champion has a record of 23 wins including 18 big victories coming by way of KO and has only 1 defeat.

The 24 years old fighter from Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines is currently ranked no. 10 in the world and no. 3 in the Philippines.

Known for being a KO fighter and won his last 4 fights all by way of KO.

With the high boxing IQ, I believed that Petalcorin is a world class fighter and he can win looking a world title in the near future.

On the otherhand, Omari Kimweri was born in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania but now residing in Australia. He is a 33 years old boxer with a record of 15W(6KO)-3L.

Kimweri fought the Japanese boxer Shin Ono for the OPBF title in 2013 but loses via split decision.

In Petalcorin-Kimweri we will also see Czar Amonsot from the Philippines who is now also residing and fighting out of Australia.
