Jack Asis to defend IBO title against Malcolm Klassen

Filipino Jack Asis who is currently residing in Australia is scheduled to defend his title against the former IBF World super featherweight champion Malcolm Klassen of South Africa on July 29th in Johannesburg.

The current IBO Champion who has a record 25 wins including 18 victories by way of KO and has 18 defeats will be tested by the former world champion.

Asis got his IBO world super featherweight title when he defeated Kye MacKenzie of Australia last year via stunning 8th round KO.

Asis is known for being an aggressive fighter not fast but has a strong chin and good boxing skills. He respectively won his last 15 fights and never been defeated since 2011.

On the other hand, Malcolm Klassen is a hard hitting 34 years old boxer from Hammanskraal, Gauteng, South Africa, he has a record of 32 wins including 17 victories by way of KO and has only 6 defeats.

He was never been knocked out in his boxing career and he is the current vacant WBA Inter-Continental super featherweight champion.

Jack Asis was supposedly scheduled to defend his title against Russian Vyachselav Gusev in August but the Russian sustained an injury that forced to close the fight.
