Jason Pagara faces former world lightweight champion Jose Alfaro

Filipino Jason Pagara is set to face the former WBA world lightweight champion Jose Alfaro of Nicaragua on November 26, 2016, at Cebu Coliseum, Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines.

Pagara is a 24 years old boxer from Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. He has a record consisting of 39 wins including 24 big victories by way of KO and has only 2 defeats.

Jason is currently the no. 1 contender for the WBO world lightweight champion Terrence Crawford.

Jason Pagara has never been defeated since 2012 and he is currently waiting for a big opportunity to get a crack for a world title fight.

On the other hand, Jose Alfaro is a 32 years old hard hitting Nicaraguan boxer with the record of 28W(24KO)10L.

Alfaro is a former WBA World lightweight champion but defeated by Yusuke Kobori in his first title defense.

Alfaro is a very tested boxer, fought many world class boxer including Yoshihiro Kamegai, Humberto Soto, Eduard Troyanovsky, Jose Zepeda and in his last fight he fought the undefeated Pedro Campa but loses via RTD in the 4th round.
