Jerry Castroverde to face Shavkat Rakhimov for the vacant WBO Youth super featherweight title

Filipino boxer Jerry Castroverde will face  the undefeated Shavkat Rakhimov of Tajikistan for the vacant WBO Youth super featherweight title on November 15, 2016 in Dom Pechati, Ekaterinburg.

The Filipino boxer has a record consisting of 9 wins including 5 victories by way of KO and has only 3 defeats.

The 19 years old  boxer from Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, upsets the veteran Lorenzo Villanueva in 2015 via 5th round TKO then win his last two fight against Jhun Ryan Quimbo and Hagibis Quinones.

And in July 29, 2016 he fought Aphiwe Mboyiya of Africa for the vacant IBF Youth super featherweight title but loses via controversial Unanimous Decision.

On the other hand, Shavkat Rakhimov is a 22 years old undefeated boxer from  Tajikistan but he is now residing in Ekaterinburg, Russia. He has a record of 6 wins including 4 victories by way of KO.

Rakhimov is set to fight for a title for the first time in his career and unlike Castoverde Rakhimov  hasn't fought notable boxers yet in his career.
