UFC Manila 2 Postponed!

The UFC supposedly to take an action on October 15, 2016, has been postponed since headliners "BJ Penn" suffered an injury in Training.

"I suffered a rib injury in training and I apologize to the fans in Manila who were expecting to watch me compete," Penn said in a statement by the UFC. “I hope to be back in the Octagon soon.”

Penn is set to face the Ricardo Lamas at the Mall of Asia Philippines, but unfortunately, it will be rescheduled for the later date. There's no date yet given but for sure the event will not happen this October as UFC October schedule is full.

Jenel Lausa, of the Philippines, is scheduled to fight Yao Zhikui of China in his UFC debut.

Despite that, UFC denies that they cancelled the event due to the drug testing plan to all the fighters in the Philippines.
