A Dream Come True For Milan Melindo

Becoming a world champion is what every boxers wants to be and Milan Melindo finally the NEW interim IBF light flyweight champion after beating the Thai boxer Sakkeerin yesterday in Cebu, November 26, 2016.

Melindo fight toe to toe against the top Thailander, the fight was close and sometimes the Thailander getting his range and hurt Melindo. But after the 12 rounds bout, Melindo win via unanimous decision with the score of 117-111, 115-113 (2x) to win the interim IBF light flyweight belt.

“Masaya kasi unang-una, natupad ko yung pangarap ko tsaka yung pangarap ni Sir ALA, yung manager ko, si Antonio Aldeguer.” Melindo told ABS-CBN Sports after the match. “Pangarap talaga niya na maging world champion ako.”

Melvin Jerusalem win the fight via UD against the veteran Fabio Marfa

Milan Melindo is now looking forward on his next possible fight against the real champion Akira Yaegashi.
