Jose Alfaro will dedicate his fight to his father, who passed away just recently

Former world champion Jose Alfaro will dedicate his fight to his father who just died recently.

Jose Alfaro (28-10-1, 24KOs) will face El Nino Jason Pagara on November 26, 2016, in Cebu said “My father was already sick when I was still training for this fight. This fight is for my father and for Nicaragua,” “For sure, my father will be watching my fight from the other side.”

“I come here with everything I got, and for sure all of the boxing fans who will be watching our fight will enjoy it,”

Jose Alfaro is a former WBA World lightweight champion defeating Prawet Singwancha in 2007 via Split decision.

Alfaro is a big test for Pagara, the Nicaraguan fought won and defeated by the notable boxers including Yoshihiro Kamegai, Eduard Troyanovsky, Jose Zepeda and Pedro Campa in his last fight.

Mostly lost to those boxers but this sure will not be an easy fight for the no. 1 WBO welterweight contender Pagara. Alfaro has a knockout power that can put Pagara in danger.

Also in the undercard Prince Albert Pagara who is coming off from a painful defeat against Cesar Juarez last July will face Raymond Commey of Ghana.
