Petalcorin and Eden Sonsona Back in Action on December 4th


Former interim WBA World light flyweight champion Randy Petalcorin and the former WBC International Silver super featherweight champion Eden Sonsona will back in action on December 4, 2016 at Robinson’s Mall Atrium, General Santos City, Cotabato del Sur.


Petalcorin is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Donny Mabao is set to face the yet to be known opponent in December for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific light flyweight title.

Petalcorin is one of the top prospect in the flyweight division but was defeated controversially by Omari Kimweri last March of 2016 via Split Decision. Petalcorin floored Kimweri 4 times in the fight but all was called a slipped.

Meanwhile, Eden Sonsona is coming off a big win in Mexico, after he knocked out Adrian Estrella in the 2nd round of their fight last year.

He will face the fellow Filipino boxer Eusebio Baluarte in a 10 round lightweight contest.

Sonsona won the vacant WBC International Silver super featherweight title, but he fought no one after that, he was been laid off for more than 1 year.

Aside from them, John Vincent Moralde, Lolito Sonsona and the undefeated Mike Plania will also see in action.
