Arthur Villanueva vs Zolani Tete booked for April 8th

ALA's Arthur Villanueva is now set to face the top South African boxer, former IBF World super flyweight champion Zolani Tete on April 8, 2017.

Villanueva who is coming off a KO victory against Juan Jimenez of Mexico will be tested on April 8th. It will be his toppest opponent in his entire career.

The 28th years old from Bago City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, once fought for the vacant IBF World super flyweight title but was defeated by Mcjoe Arroyo in 2015 via technical decision.

It will be a 2nd chance for Villanueva to prove that he is one of the elite boxers in the super flyweight division.

Villanueva's career will be determined in this fight.

Meanwhile, Tete is a very known boxer in the world. He has a record consisting of 24 wins including 20 big victories by way of KO and has only 3 defeats.

He won the vacant IBF World super flyweight title against the Japanese Teiru Kinoshita via unanimous decision in 2014, after that, Tete defeated Paul Butler of UK via 8th round TKO.

Arthur Villanueva vs Zolani Tete will be included in the undercard of the WBO World lightweight title championship between Terry Flanagan and Petr Petrov on April 8, 2017, at Manchester Arena (formerly M.E.N Arena), Manchester, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
