Jason Canoy to face Undefeated South African for WBF world Bantamweight Title

Jason Canoy of the Philippines will face the undefeated prospect from South Africa Mzuvukile Magwaca on March 31, 2017, in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

Canoy is a 26 years old boxer from Cebu, Philippines. He has a record consisting of 26 wins including 19 big wins by way of KO and has only 6 defeats.

Canoy is coming off a TKO wins against Jetly Purisima last 2016 of September to win the vacant Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) bantamweight title.

The Filipino boxer will fight for the 1st time in South Africa.

Meanwhile his opponent Mzuvukile Magwaca is a South African boxer, he has an outstanding record consisiting of 17W(10KO)-2D.

The South African is coming from a 2 years lay off but he's still in a top condition.

Magwaca defeated the Filipino Michael Enriquez via 5th round RTD.

Magwaca is a former Magwaca WBA International bantamweight champion. He won his last fight against Raul Eliseo Medina via 2nd round TKO.
