Jhon Gemino to face undefeated Tugstsogt Nyambayar Today


Jhon Gemino of the Philippines is set to face the former Olympian Tugstsogt Nyambayar on February 25, 2016, at Legacy Arena, Birmingham, Alabama, USA.


Gemino is currently one of the best fighters of the Philippines in the featherweight division. Currently ranked no. 2 and won his 2 big fights in a highlight reel.

In August 2016 Jhon Gemino won the vacant WBA Inter-Continental super bantamweight title against Toto Helebe of South Africa. Jhon Gemino stopped the South African in the 7th round.

After one month, Gemino traveled to the USA to face the Top Rank former undefeated Toka Kahn-Clary and Gemino just knocked out Clary in the very 1st round of their fight.

Those two wins put Gemino in the top 20 boxers in the featherweight division.

Meanwhile, his opponent is a top prospect from Mongolia. A former Olympian with the current record consisting of 7 wins including 7 victories by way of KO with no defeat.

He defeated Rafael Vazquez last year via 1st round KO and also defeated the veteran German Meraz last December of 2016 via 5th round stoppage.
