Lorenzo Villanueva to face tough Japanese Masayuki Ito on April 13th

Hard hitting Filipino boxer Lorenzo Villanueva is set to face the tough Japanese boxer Masayuki Ito on April 13, 2017 at Korakuen Hall, Tokyo Japan for the WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight title.

Villanueva is a 31 years old boxer with the record consisting of 32 wins including 28 big victories by way of KO with only 2 defeats.

Villanueva was only defeated in 2012 by Daud Yordan via KO but he also drops the Indonesian former IBO champion in the first round. Villanueva was also losses via 4th round KO by Jerry Castroverde in 2015.

The 5'7 Filipino slugger, however, returns with his last 3 KO wins.

On the other hand, Masayuki Ito is the current WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight champion.

The Japanese is only 26 years old and currently ranked no. 15 in the world by boxrec.

Ito defeated the fellow Japanese boxer Takuya Watanabe in his last fight via unanimous decision.
