Tapales knockouts Omori but Loses Belt

Marlon Tapales wins his fight yesterday against Shohei Omori via 11th round TKO.

The fight was close but Tapales wins impressively with a KO.

Tapales uses his counter punching skills and power to win the fight, Tapales connects a left hook in the 10th round but the Japanese been able to comeback.

In round 11, Tapales not wasting any time and attack Omori relentlessly,  refereee stops the fight at 2:34 left in the 11th round.

Tapales won but he lost the title because he didn't meet the 118 lbs limit.

Tapales said that he will be moved up in weight because he is now heavy and can't  maintain the current division.

Tapales now improved his record to 30W(13KO)-2L.
