Mark Magsayo to face Daniel Diaz in Pinoy Pride 41


Mark Magnifico Magsayo is set to lead the 41st series of Pinoy Pride of ALA promotions. Magsayo is scheduled to face the Nicaraguan boxer Daniel Diaz in the Main Event.


Magsayo with an undefeated record of 16W(12KO) is currently the best prospect of the Philippines in the featherweight division.

Known for defeating his tough American opponent Chris Avalos last year via TKO.

Magsayo is currently the WBO international featherweight champion won his last fight against Issa Nampepeche last April 29, 2017, via 1st round KO.

Meanwhile, his opponent Daniel Diaz is a 33 years old boxer from Jinotega, Nicaragua.

With a record of 23W(15KO)-7L-2D Diaz is a former world title contender and once fought Koki Kameda for the WBA world bantamweight title but lost via TKO.

Diaz won his last fight via unanimous decision against Jorge Moreno.

Aside from Magsayo, Albert Pagara and Jeo Santisima will be included in the card of Pinoy Pride 41.

Magsayo vs Daniel Diaz will be held at IEC Convention Center, Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City, Cebu on July 8, 2017.
