Melindo: "It will be easier this time"

Milan "El Metodico" Melindo is very confident in his upcoming fights against the IBF World light flyweight champion Akira Yaegeshi of Japan.

Milan said:

"I think this will be it. I have already learned from all my mistakes in fighting world championships. I won't be hesitant. It will be easier this time,"

"I'm very confident right now but I know my opponent is very good. He is a brawler who is tough and is also a volume puncher,"

Melindo is now the interim champion and looking to get the regular belt against the Japanese Champion.

The 29 years old boxer from Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines tried two times to win the world title but defeated by Juan Francisco Estrada in 2013 and Javier Mendoza in 2015 in Mexico.

Melindo is set to face Akira Yaegashi on May 21st at Ariake Colosseum, Tokyo, Japan.
