Gilas Pilipinas wins over Japan, 85-100

Gilas Pilipinas won another game in the William Jones Cup 2017, Gilas defeated the Japanese team 85-100.

1st half was ended with the lead by the Japanese team, it been a silent match between two teams, almost have the same statistics and both teams scoring thru perimeter. There's a defense lapse for the Philippine team but the center Standhardinger working hard and so far one with highest points in the game with 11. 1st half ended 42-41 by Japan.

The 3rd quarter was ended 66-66. It was a hard fought game. The Gilas having a lead in rebounding but the smaller team Japanese perimeter shot was good. So far It's a nail biting game.

Gilas Pilipinas win the game with the biggest lead of the game of 15. the 4th quarter turns very good for the Gilas Team as they got a lot of offensive rebounds and their shooting was very good also. The Philippines wins the game 85-100.

Gilas now improved their record to 3-1 while the Japanese yet to win any game in the tournament and dropped their record to 0-4.
