Rene Dacquel to defend OPBF title against Hayato Kimura

Current Filipino OPBF super flyweight champion Rene Daquel is set to defend his title against the Japanese fighter Hayato Kimura.

Rene Daquel of Manabo, Abra, Philippines is a 26 years old boxer and has a record of 19W(6KO)-6L-1D.

Rene Daquel is a smart fighter and has a strong chin. He is also a former Philippine Super Flyweight Champion and WBC Youth World super flyweight champion.

The 5'4 Filipino won the OPBF super flyweight title against Go Onaga in 2016 and successfully defended it against Shota Kawaguchi last April.

On the other hand, Hayato Kimura is a veteran Japanese boxer with a record of 26W(17KO)-9L.

A hard-hitting fighter stands 5'7 and has a speed.

Hayato Kimura currently ranked no. 43rd in the world in the super flyweight division and won his last fight against Kasikrit Wanasutha via TKO last April.

Daquel vs Kimura will be held at Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan on July 19th.
