Jason Pagara Needs Impressive Win to Get a Title Shot

Jason Pagara needs a decisive, emphatic win against his next opponent Richmond Djarbeng on September 16th, to have a chance to fight for a world title.

“Jason really needs to prove himself that he is ready for something bigger in his career. I think a solid victory against Djarbeng will give him an opportunity to get a world title shot soon and that’s what every boxer desires,” trainer Edito Villamor was quoted by Manila Times.

Pagara who will fight the knock out artist Richmond Djarbeng 28W(22KO)-3L-1D is still ranked no. 3 by the WBO who has a reining champion, Terence Crawford.

Pagara who is now 29 years old really needs more exposure and more big fights if he wants to get a world title fight. Maybe a fight against the Ghanian is still not a  huge for ranking but it could help him to get more invites from the high caliber fighter.

Currently, Jason Pagara has a record of 40W(25KO)-2L and now seeking for a world title chance.
