After Hayashi, Magsayo Lalaban na for World Title Eliminator

WBO ranked no. 2 featherweights Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo ay malapit ng lumaban para sa title eliminator.

But before that, he needs to take his Japanese foe first and win by a decisive decision.

Hayashi is not an easy opponent for Magsayo, the Japanese is well ranked and has a good record of 30W(18KO)-6L.

“We have a process to be followed wherein the top contender will have to fight the next available contender in the Top 15 with the winner to become the mandatory challenger,” Panoncillo said. “If the No. 2 contender is available, he has to fight the No. 2, if not, he will fight the next available contender and so on.”

ALA Promotion is open in a negotiation between the ranked no. 1 contender Joseph Diaz Jr of the Golden Boy Promotion.

The current WBO Featherweight Champion is Oscar Valdez and ranked no. 1 is Joseph Diaz Jr.. Magsayo might face Diaz Jr. in a title eliminator early next year if he can handle the Japanese foe on November 25th in Bohol.
