Magsayo via UD, Pagara via 2nd Round KO in Pinoy Pride 43


Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo retained his WBO International Featherweight Title yesterday via unanimous decision against the toughest opponent so far Shota Hayashi.


The fight was definitely Magsayo's hardest experience yet because the Japanese was very strong and can take punches. Magsayo only hurt the Japanese in the 9th round in body but the Japanese recovered.

Magsayo won the fight identically 112-116.

Meanwhile, Albert Pagara knocked the Tanzanian opponent in the 2nd round twice to win the fight via KO.

Pagara improved his record to 29W-1L/
