Carlo Magali faces WBC World Super Featherweight Champion Miguel Berchelt in Mexico

Filipino boxer Carlo Magali will finally fighting for a world title against the current WBC World Super Featherweight champion Miguel Berchelt of Mexico after Cristian Mijares walked away from the fight.

This is a chance of a lifetime for Carlo Magali, this is the first time that Magali will fight for a world title. Magali is 31 years old from Talibon, Bohol, Philippines, he has a record of 23 wins including 12 KO's with 9 defeats and 3 draws. Magali is coming off two consecutive TKO wins. He won his last fight against tough Japanese Masatoshi Kotani last January 13, 2018.

On the otherhand, the hardhitting WBC World Super Featherweight champion Miguel Berchelt is a Mexican brawler with a record of (32W, 28KO's - 1L). He was only defeated by Luis Eduardo Florez via 1st round KO in 2014. However he came back and won his last 11 fights and 10 of those are by way of KO.

Miguel Berchelt vs Carlo Magali will be held at Plaza de Toros, Cancun, Mexico on February 10, 2018.
