Albert Pagara faces Laryea Odoi of Ghana in "Pinoy Pride 44"


Filipino boxer Albert Pagara will comeback in Pinoy Pride 44 presented by ALA promotions that will be held in his hometown Maasin City, Leyte on June 9, 2018.

Albert Pagara will face Laryea Gabriel Odoi of Ghana. Albert Pagara is coming off a 2nd round KO over Mohammed Kambuluta in November of 2017. Pagara promises that he will comeback as a contender after he was being knocked out by Cesar Juarez in 2016. Currently Pagara is a world rated no. 36 in the featherweight division, and no. 10 contender for the WBO featherweight title of Oscar Valdez.

Meanwhile, his opponent Laryea Gabriel Odoi is an unknown fighter from Ghana. Odoi has a record of (24W-3L, 14KO's), world rated no. 228 in the featherweight division and won his last fight against Billy Quaye in Ghana by KO.

Jeo Santisima is also on the card who will face Likit Chane of Thailand for the vacant World Boxing Organisation Oriental Super Bantamweight Title.
