Jhack Tepora faces Mexican Edivaldo Ortega for the IBO World Featherweight Title


Undefeated Filipino Jhack Tepora is scheduled to face the highly rated Mexican fighter Edivaldo Ortega in the undercard of Matthysse-Pacquiao fight.

Jhack Tepora is a 25 years old boxer with an undefeated record of (21W-16KO's). This will be "El Kapitan" toughest fight so far in his career, Tepora is the current World Boxing Organisation Inter-Continental Featherweight champion after beating Lusanda Komanisi via stunning 2nd round KO last September 22, 2017, and now rated no. 26th best featherweight in the world, this fight will definitely make a name if he wins.

Meanwhile, Edivaldo Ortega is a 27 years old boxer with a record of (26W-1L, 12KO's), currently rated 15th best featherweight fighter in the world and defeated some of the best in the division including Rey Perez, Christian Esquivel, Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr and Drian Francisco. The alias Indio is only lost to Eduardo Ramirez via unanimous decision.

Tough fight for both boxers and whoever wins the fight is possible to become a next boxing star. Tepora vs Ortega will be held in Kuala Lumpur on July 15th.
